I grew up in Appling and I am familiar with Columbia & McDuffie counties the most.  However, I am proficient in all of the CSRA counties as well.  I received my real estate license in Georgia in 1993. 

Attending all continuing education courses available is very important to me so that I may use the education to better serve my clients.

I am a member of the Greater Augusta Board of Realtors and the past President of the Classic South Board of Realtors. As President, I attended all conventions and Expos for the Georgia Association and the National Association.  I graduated from the Georgia Realtor Institute receiving the GRI designation and achieved the ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) designation as well.  I proudly carry the REALTOR code of ethics and professional standards and earned The Circle of Excellence Award based on past production through The Classic South Board of Realtors.  I attended the National convention in New Orleans for lots of education as well as helping to rebuild homes from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. 

I personally have rental/investment properties of my own and therefore have plenty of experience on both sides of the fence. As a full time agent you will always be able to reach me.

The Wilson Company Real Estate office has a new realtor in its ranks.  Curl Chalker is a native of Glascock County and graduated from high school there.  He is a graduate of Georgia Southern holding a Bachelor’s Degree.  He spent 26 years in the kaolin industry holding various positions including QC Manager and Division Manager.

Curl has been licensed to sell real estate since 1998.  He began his real estate career selling on St. Simons Island.  He also worked in the McIntosh County area.

Curl is very familiar with this area having lived in Glascock and Jefferson Counties.  Before coming to The Wilson Company he worked for Keller Williams Realty Augusta Partners and worked Burke, Jefferson and Glascock as well as surrounding counties.

Curl looks forward to becoming involved with McDuffie County not only in real estate but also as a part of the community.
